Larry Stephen Lewis

1947 — 2026

Annville, PA

Larry Stephen Lewis, 78, of Annville, passed away on March 10, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Jennifer J. (Babinski) Lewis, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Glendale, California, on December 30, 1947, to the late Richard Rodney and Shirley (Grey) Lewis, Larry worked for many years as a draftsman, beginning with traditional pen and ink before transitioning to computer-aided design. He was employed by Cracker Barrel in Virginia and volunteered with his church’s food pantry there. After relocating to the East Coast in 2007, he became an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Lebanon, where he sang in the choir. He also belonged to the Palmyra Sportsman Association and the former Lebanon 912 Club, volunteered at local polling places during elections, and wrote stories about his life through StoryWorth.

Larry was deeply patriotic and held a strong interest in American history and the nation’s Christian heritage. He was known for his genuine care for others, staying in touch with friends, meeting them for coffee, and encouraging them whenever he could. In his younger years, he built and engraved a picnic table with the word “Friends” and the names of those closest to him. He found joy in muscle cars, drag racing, collecting pennies since childhood, gardening, prepping, researching current events online, reading the Bible, and striving to make a positive difference in the world.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughters Ann Marie Lougheed of Alta Loma, California, and Josephine Miles of Eastvale, California; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Douglas Lewis and his wife Pat of Palmdale, California; nephew Doug Lewis; niece Brittany Lewis; stepmother Pat Lewis; and several cousins.
