Kerstetter, born October 18, 1942, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, but lived most of his life in Sunbury PA, passed away after a long and full life. He was the son of the late Melvin Kerstetter and the late Thelma (Varner) Aucker.Larry spent more than 60 years working as a barber and was deeply dedicated to his trade. In fact, he continued cutting hair at his barber shop, The Master's Quarter's, right up until the day before he passed away, something he truly loved and took great pride in. Over the years he became not just a barber to many, but also a friend and familiar face in the community.Outside of work, Larry enjoyed hunting and had a lifelong love for Corvettes. Those who knew him will remember his strong work ethic, his stories from the barber chair, and the passion he had for the people and things he loved.Larry is survived by his three daughters Kelly (Doug) Everitt, Laurie (Robert) Atteberry, Michelle (Scott) Russell, stepdaughter Abby (Craig) Kalcich, stepson Branden (Amber) Smith, companion Louise Latsha, and his sister Sonja Shambach. His grandchildren include Joshua and David Everit, Justin and Brittany Atteberry, Ayla Decker, Ivie Cain, Calvin Russell, and Bryson Kalcich. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Campbell) Kerstetter, his brother Danny Kerstetter, and sister Judy Fisher.Burial will be private, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.In his own words, Larry often said, "I had a good life."The family is being assisted by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
