Larry Hamm ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Elkins East Chapel - Killen on Feb. 26, 2026.Larry Paul Hamm passed away on Feb 25th 2026 after a lengthy battle with COPD.Larry was born on Dec 22, 1953 in Florence, AL, and grew up in Iron City, Tennessee. Larry went into the army and after getting out met his wife Rebecca of 40yrs. Together they had 4 beautiful daughters. Larry loved fishing, gardening and animals.Known to everyone as "Hambone" he would take the vegetables from his 2-acre garden to all his neighbors and friends. Larry was quick to help and call if anyone he knew was sick or in need of something. He loved God, his family and friends.Larry was a Christian and attended Hickory Flat Freewill Baptist Church with his wife Rebecca.Larry was one of 12 children. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Hamm; and four brothers, Ray, Barry, Tim and David Hamm; three sisters, Syble, Alice, and Freda; and his parents Mary Ruth Watkins Hamm and William Paul Hamm.He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Roden Hamm; four daughters, Debbie, Melissa, Kim and Tonia; four sisters, Mittie, Jennifer, Barbara and Patricia; 10 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.Pallbearers include: Trey Frederick, Don Mann Jr., Chris Ballentine, Jack Prater, Steven Magee, Jason Magee. Carl Parker will serve as an honorary pallbearer.Services will be held at Elkins East Chapel in Killen on Friday, February 27 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
