He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Land and Annie Mae Land; and his brother Bobby Land. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Land of Morehead City; his daughters, Catherine Land of Greenville and Mary-Taylor Land of Garner; and his grandson Landon Wilkins of Garner.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the The Salvation Army (2800 Bridges St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
