Larry Ladouceur

Larry Ladouceur, 80, of Drayton, ND passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Unity Medical Center in Grafton, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Visitation for one hour before the time of services on Thursday at the church. Burial will be held at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.

Larry was born May 28, 1945, the son of Modest and Martha (Denault) Ladouceur. He grew up in Walhalla, ND and worked for area farmers. Larry then worked for American Crystal Sugar for many years until his retirement in 2010. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching westerns on TV, trips to the casino and auction sales. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

On February 23, 1971, he married Donna Schnetzer at Cavalier, ND. She survives as do his children: David Wayne Ladouceur, Drayton, ND, Joseph (Sabrienna) Ladouceur, Mekinock, ND, Wesley (Elizabeth) Ladouceur, Grafton, ND, Melissa (Lance) Waters, Walhalla, ND; grandchildren: Kaijun, Hailey, and Larry Joseph Ladouceur; Isabella and Christian Ladouceur; Lance III, David, and Martha Waters, step-son, Brad Trower, Hannibal, MO. Also surviving are his siblings: Judy Jerome, Jane (Albert) Koehmstedt, Mary Rose Goulet, Linda Shea, and Charles Ladouceur.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Modest and Martha, son, Larry Jay Ladouceur, brother, David Ladouceur, and sisters: Kathy Fleischfresser and Marilyn Gerszewski.
