Larry L. Wood

Larry L. Wood, 81, of Willow Street, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Esther (Reynolds) Wood and the husband of the late Betty (Kunkel) Wood.

Larry spent many years as an IBEW union electrician. He found great joy in hunting, working on street rods, woodcarving, and collecting trains, postcards, and Native American mementos. An avid gardener, he also cherished the companionship of his dogs, Rusty, Dusty, and Buster.

He is survived by his children, Larry L. Wood, Jr., and Kimberly, wife of James Hecimovich, as well as his siblings, Arlene Arbaugh, Donald Wood, and Linda Slaugh. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard Wood.
