Larry L. Sigler

Larry L. Sigler, 78, of Dixon, Illinois, passed away on February 27, 2026, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, Illinois. Born on February 12, 1948, in Oregon, Illinois, to Leo and Frances (Winters) Sigler, Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Lead Man for Wood Brothers for 54 years, retiring in 2008.

On March 1, 1975, he married Elizabeth “Beth” Dimpfl. To know Larry was to know a quiet yet faithful, steady, helpful, and kind man. He was deeply involved with the food pantry at Dixon Assembly of God Church and cherished time spent with his family. He loved fishing, being in nature, taking walks, and gathering with loved ones around a fire, especially at Lowell Park in Dixon.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Beth Sigler; his children, Brian Sigler, Amanda (Aaron) Baker, and Kelle (Jacob) Drew; and seven grandchildren, Chris Sigler, Elijah Baker, Benjamin Baker, Emmeline Baker, Lucas Drew, Nolan Drew, and Norah Drew. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter-in-law.
