Larry James Baum

Larry James Baum, 81, of Patton, passed away on Friday evening, March 13, 2026, at his home. Born on February 20, 1945, in Spangler, he was the son of the late Donald and Charlotte (Riddle) Baum. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Baum.

Larry is survived by his four children, Jamie Dumm and her husband Bernard of Strongstown, Larry “Jim” Baum and his wife Kathy of Plum, Deanna Nelson and her husband Tim of Gore, Virginia, and Kelly LeGars and her husband Tim of Northern Cambria. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his brother David Baum of Emeigh.

A lifelong resident of the area, Larry lived a quiet life rooted in family and community. He will be remembered by those who knew him for the steady presence he provided as a father, grandfather, and brother.
