Larry J. Hollister

Lawrence “Larry” Hollister, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, quick wit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

He was the devoted husband of his beloved wife, Christine, and a proud father to his son, Christopher Hollister (Marissa). Larry was predeceased by his cherished daughter, Christine Hollister, and his beloved son, Matthew Hollister.

An avid sports fan, Larry rarely missed a game. He proudly cheered for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team, the New York Mets, and the New York Jets. Whether watching from the couch or talking sports with friends and family, his enthusiasm was infectious. Known for his humor, he loved making people laugh and was always ready with a joke or a funny story. His warm personality and ability to bring smiles to others made him loved by all who knew him.

Nothing brought Larry greater joy than his role as a grandfather. He leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Christopher John, GiaLynn, Alessandra, and Alexa, who will forever carry his love and memory in their hearts. Larry’s life was centered on family, laughter, and loyalty to the people and teams he loved. His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
