Larry Garrison

Larry Garrison, 73, of Hartselle, passed away on March 13, 2026, at his residence. Born on November 15, 1952, in Morgan County, he was the son of Ervin Garrison and Hattie Smallwood Garrison.

A U.S. Army veteran who served two years, Larry spent his working life as a truck driver for Good Hope Contracting until his retirement. Those who knew him remember a giving man with a generous heart who cherished his church, his family, and his beloved puppy dogs. He found simple joy in mowing his yard, sharing colorful trucking stories, and attending the rodeo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Garrison, his parents, and four brothers. Larry is survived by his daughter, Lisa Burns; stepdaughters, Lynn Marie Garrison and Trecia Olias; his sister, Fay Yeager and her husband Gerald; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
