Saunders, 86, of Silver Lake, KS passed away at Olathe Good Shepherd Hospice on March 16, 2026. He was born February 27, 1940 in Colby, Kansas, the son of Lawrence and Eula (Russel) Saunders.Larry was a 1959 graduate of Colby High School. He worked as a carpenter and a contractor for many years, building houses and cabinetry.Larry enjoyed Trap Shooting and was a member of the N.R.A., the Topeka Gun Club, and the Tappan Hill Gun Club.Larry is survived by his two daughters, Alisa (Dan) Gray of Auckland, New Zealand, and Natalie (Kevin) Kalthoff of Shawnee, KS, son, Larry "Lynne" Saunders of Hill City, KS, and six grandchildren.
