Larry F. Fultz, 83, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on July 12, 1942, in Fremont, Ohio, to Frank and Magdalen (Nick) Fultz, Larry was a generous and humble man whose steadfast dedication and loyalty defined his life. A proud U.S. Marine, he served his country with honor and lived by the motto Semper Fidelis—Always Faithful.
After his military service, Larry joined the Clyde Police Department before pursuing a long and successful career as an entrepreneur and community leader. He founded and owned Fultz Hauling (FSI Disposal), co-owned Western Auto with his late wife, Teresa, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a coach with the Fremont Wreckers Boxing Club. His commitment to his community earned him recognition as Clyde Citizen of the Year and Sandusky County Citizen of the Year, and he received the State of Ohio Governor’s Pollution Prevention Award for his innovative work in recycling. An active member of the Clyde VFW, Moose, and Eagles, Larry remained deeply involved in the organizations that mattered to him.
Above all, Larry cherished his family. He loved spending time with them, especially cheering on his grandchildren at sporting events and school activities. He is survived by his children, Magdalen (Rick) Van Walsen, Audrea (Tom) Albright, AnnMarie (Randy) Miller, and Larry “Duke” (Kendra) Fultz; grandchildren, Thomas Kyle Albright, Tyler Albright, Adam (Shelby) Albright, Blake Lawrence (Taylor) Miller, Savannah Marie Miller, Brody (Brittany) Fultz, Frank Fultz, and Shaelyn Fultz; four great-grandchildren, Lofton “Chuck” Albright, Holden Albright, Ronin Miller, and Booker Fultz; his sisters, Faye Hunley, Mary Jo (Rich) Ulman, and Linda (Larry) Hall; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and his beloved cat, Sal.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Teresa Fultz, who passed away on June 24, 2013, as well as his parents, siblings, and several in-laws.
