Larry Douglas Pickell

Larry Douglas Pickell, an artist, broker, and collector, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on February 27, 1947, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford, Oregon, he grew up attending St. Mary's school, completing grades one through twelve before continuing his education in college.

After spending many years as a real estate broker in the Medford area, Larry devoted himself to one of his lifelong passions: collecting antiques and unique treasures. Music remained a constant joy throughout his life. In high school he formed a band called The Dynamics, which performed at school dances and local events. He continued playing guitar and piano for decades, especially cherishing informal jam sessions with family and friends.

Son of Douglas and Ruth Pickell, Larry is survived by his sister Linda, brothers Keith and Gary, sister-in-law Sherry, and nephews Doug, Kelly, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his brother Randy.

He will be remembered for his love of music, his deep appreciation for art and antiques, and the many warm friendships he cultivated throughout his life.
