Larry Dorsett

Lawrence “Larry” Edward Dorsett, Jr., 78, of High Point, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at Westchester Manor Nursing Center.

Born March 3, 1948, in High Point, he was a son of the late Lawrence Edward Dorsett, Sr., and the late Evelyn Virginia Motsinger Dorsett.

Those left to cherish his memory; his daughters, Molly Slate and husband Brian, of Wallburg, Emily Dorsett of Thomasville, and Jenny Dorsett and fiancé Brennen Duncan of Thomasville; grandchildren, Ethan Reed and McRae Slate; brother, David Dorsett and wife Anne and sister, Jane Dorsett.

The family will receive friends, 1:00-2:30 PM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel.

A private graveside will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
