Larry DeBord, 69, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Deaconess Gibson Hospital in Princeton. Born on June 6, 1956, in Princeton to the late Ralph B. DeBord and Sylvia “Tibby” (Walker) DeBord, Larry owned and operated a greenhouse and was known for his remarkable “green thumb.” Yet his greatest joy was found in the simple pleasure of spending time with his family, especially cheering at his grandchildren’s ballgames.
He is survived by his son, Kyle DeBord (Heather) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Carter and Elliott; and his sister-in-law, Monica DeBord. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Mark DeBord.
Larry will be remembered as a devoted father and grandfather whose quiet dedication to his family and his work left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
