Larry David Kimball
April 8, 1959— March 10, 2026
Nederland, TX
Larry David Kimball, 66, of Nederland, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on April 8, 1959, in Port Arthur, he was the son of George Clarence Kimball, Jr. and Jean Catherine Kimball.
He cherished the memories made with his children at Lake Ivanhoe during their younger years and took great joy in cheering on his children and grandchildren in their sports. Larry had a passion for cooking and found deep satisfaction in preparing meals that brought his family together around the table. Over time, that family circle expanded to include the friends of his children and grandchildren, many of whom affectionately called him PaPa Larry. He took special pride in having grown up as the son of a serviceman and later becoming the grandfather to both a Marine and an Army soldier. He also enjoyed a good cup of coffee and listening to old country music. Above all, he will be remembered for his sarcastic humor, his kind heart, and his unwavering love for his family.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Lori East and her husband, Mike of Nederland and Carolyn Hale and her husband, Wesley of Port Neches; son, Tyler Kimball and his husband, Tyson of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Jace Edgar and his wife, Brooke of Port Neches, Jayla Gossett of Nederland, Jason Gossett, Jr. of Port Neches, Daelyn Hale of Port Neches, and Kinsley Hale of Port Neches; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Parker Edgar. He is also survived by several siblings as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings and his beloved dog Sugarbear.
