He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Molgaard (Larry) and Florence Molgaard (Head); his grandparents, Henry and Jean Molgaard; his in-laws, Stewart "Swede" and Evelyn Carlson; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Molgaard and Frank Youngblood.

He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Molgaard; his children, Robin Molgaard and Dane Molgaard (Stacey); his granddaughters, Kaleigh Molgaard, Kristin Pulkrab (Slater) and Megan Mejia (Matt); his great grandchild Henry Pulkrab; and his brothers, Terry Molgaard and Gary Molgaard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials will be directed by the family.
