Larry Aaron Aladino Lujan
December 20, 1967— March 8, 2026
Odessa, TX
Larry Aaron Aladino Lujan was born on December 20, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, to Bernice and Larry Lujan. He passed away on March 8, 2026, at Medical Center Hospital. Larry lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a deep devotion to his family and friends.
He spent many years in the oilfield, where his determination, skill, and leadership earned him the respect of his crews. He advanced through the ranks to become a rig supervisor, a position he held with great pride. Known for his reliability and commitment to doing things the right way, Larry left a lasting impression on everyone who worked with him. A gifted handyman, he could repair nearly anything—electrical work, plumbing, cars, motorcycles, or carpentry—with confidence and expertise. His remarkable strength was the stuff of family legend; one story tells of the day he single-handedly lifted and moved a car.
To those around him, he was affectionately known as “Lucky.” His sharp sense of humor and unforgettable personality lit up any room. He was quick with playful sayings like “Does your face hurt? It’s killing me!” and his booming “Boy!” He loved joking that he was the real-life Johnny Bravo, and he never lost his youthful spirit. Larry enjoyed watching cartoons, browsing toy aisles, attending estate sales, and always carrying candy and sweets to share with his daughter and grandchildren.
He shared a particularly close bond with his daughter, Larra, and loved his sons deeply. His affection for his siblings was strong, expressed in their own playful way through teasing and banter. Though he was not one for answering text messages, when it truly mattered, Larry showed up without fail. After years of narrowly escaping danger, he was called home on March 8, 2026, and reunited with his mother Bernice, his father Larry, his Aunt Jan, his Uncle Al, and his Grandma Susie.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Larra Lujan; his sons, Michael Lujan and Larry McNeal with Isabella; his grandchildren, Ella, Elijah, Emily, Emmitt, Makayla, Michael, Luke, and Mateo; and his siblings, Anna and Ralph Sanchez, Joe and Angie Lujan, Joylynn and Darrin Phillips, and Robert and Amy Lujan, along with 22 nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
