He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, James Hayden and Richard Tenny. He is survived by: his parents, Mike Blount and Rhonda Blount; his spouse Lauren Evans Blount; his sister Lauren Courtney (Daryl); his sibling's children, Andi Courtney and Maddox Courtney; his brothers-in-law, Dalton Evans and Nathan Evans; and his parents-in-law, Shane Evans and Sherrie Evans.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Revival Temple (28521 Walker South Rd, Walker, LA 70785).
