February 22, 1936— February 26, 2026
Lawrenceville, GA
Lamercie Barjon was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she grew up surrounded by family, faith, and a strong sense of community. From an early age she developed the values that defined her life: kindness, perseverance, and unwavering faith in God. She built a life devoted to her family and to the principles of her Christian faith as a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Lamercie was known for her gentle spirit, her wisdom, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her home was a place of warmth where family, friends, and neighbors were always received with open arms.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lamercie raised her children with love, discipline, and faith, teaching them the importance of prayer, compassion, and trust in God through every season of life. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters and two sons, along with nine great-grandchildren, many relatives, and a wide circle of friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and generosity. She was preceded in death by two of her beloved sons, Serge Barjon and Jean Barjon, whose memories remained forever in her heart.
Though her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved her, her family takes comfort in the promise of Scripture: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” Lamercie’s life was a testimony of faith, love, and resilience. Her legacy will continue through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
