He was born in Portland, OR on July 27, 1940. Lamar was a Navy veteran, skilled and brilliant electrician, woodworker, and all around problem solver. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Francis Kauk and Mona and Albert Adams; his brother, Larry; and his daughter, Teresa.Lamar was a kind and generous person. Serving others brought him the most joy. Whether it be providing a meal to a stranger in need, creating one of a kind pieces of furniture for friends and family, or helping his children and grandchildren complete school projects out in the shop, Lamar put others before himself and prided himself on treating others with kindness and respect.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane; children, Bonnie, Paul, James, and Matthew; siblings, Bev and Stan; and numerous grandchildren.Per his wishes, there will not be any funeral services.Arrangements by Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.Read The Full ObituaryTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
