Lafella Louise Brewster

Lafella Louise Brewster, 81, of Columbus, born in Oceana, Virginia on June 22, 1944 to the late Sanford M. and Hattie (McDaniel) Fisher. She married General Brewster, and he preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish memories of Louise include daughter, Betty (preceded by Thomas) Love; sons, Royace (Marilyn) Meade and Garrett (Angela) Meade; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Donna, Tommy, Harold, Marcella, and Johnny; and many family members and friends.

Along with her parents, spouse and son-in-law, Louise was preceded in death by siblings, Ronnie, Charlie, and Sherley.

Louise loved her flowers, allowing them to surround her in life. She loved birds, and her dog, Midnight. In the early years, Louise loved to fish. She also loved to crochet, making blankets and doilies to share with family and friends.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 5pm to 7pm, Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. A service to honor Louise will be held at 11am, Friday, March 20, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Southwest, Grove City. Burial to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
