Ladislao Sáenz

Ladislao Sáenz passed away surrounded by family on March 6, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1935, to Luis and Juliana Sáenz. One of eleven brothers, he grew up alongside Julian, Leónides, Juan, Benito, Filomeno, David, José, Manuel, Monico, and Otillio.

In 1957, Ladislao married Luisa Macías. Together they raised eight children: Margarito, Cristin, Irene, Elodia, Quesia, José, María, and Pedro. A patient, hardworking, and humble man, Ladislao had a playful sense of humor and a curious mind. He was known for offering heartfelt pep talks and wise advice when it was needed most. A gifted storyteller, he could hold everyone’s attention with tales that never grew old, even on the second or third telling.

He leaves behind seven children, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ladislao is now reunited with his beloved wife Luisa, his daughter Quesia, his brothers, his great-granddaughter Liljah, and his grandson Cristin. All who knew him are better for having had him in their lives, and he will be deeply missed every day.
