La Jeanne A. “Jeanne” Miller, 93, formerly of Brookville, passed away on March 9, 2026, at McKinley Health Center.
Born in Summerville on February 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late David and Mabel Crawford Powell. A 1950 graduate of Summerville High School, Jeanne married Clair E. Jeanne worked various jobs throughout her life and retired in 1999 from Norlanco Medical Center as a medical records transcriptionist. A longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Brookville and Oakland Church of God in Distant, she found joy in playing bridge with her longtime club, card games, knitting, crocheting, camping, assisting with church ministries, and singing in the church choirs.
