Kyle Weston Gordon

September 23, 2000 March 3, 2026

Lyman, WY

Kyle Weston Gordon, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2026. A cherished son, brother, and friend, he will be remembered for his gentle sense of humor, kind heart, and accepting nature that made everyone around him feel comfortable and at ease.

Born on September 23, 2000, in Logan, Utah, to Weston Cregg Gordon and Heather Godding Gordon, Kyle grew up in Hyrum, Utah, before moving with his family to Lyman, Wyoming, at the age of 14. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 2019 and was recognized in 2017 as Student Employee of the Year. Following in his father’s footsteps, he worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department as a dedicated watercraft inspector. Known for his reliability and quiet competence, he was respected and deeply valued by his coworkers at E80.

Kyle had a natural talent for programming and coding, spending many hours creating online games and software that reflected his interests and those of the people he cared about. His love of gaming began in childhood with classic Nintendo titles and the Wii, where he spent joyful evenings playing Mario Kart with his mother and sister. Over the years he enjoyed Minecraft, Tanki, and Terraria, forming meaningful friendships within online gaming communities that brought him laughter, teamwork, and connection. He also loved electronic and dubstep music, took pride in his independence, and cherished personal milestones such as buying his first car, exploring Wyoming and California’s Redwoods, and managing his own finances. Quiet and thoughtful, Kyle carried a sharp intelligence and a well-timed sense of humor that those closest to him will never forget.

He is survived by his loving parents, Weston Cregg Gordon and Heather Godding Gordon; his older sister, Jade Breanne Gordon; his paternal grandparents, Susan and Cregg Gordon; his maternal grandparents, Barry and Rhonda Godding; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his cousins, Deegan Blake Gordon and Jake Lynn Stallings, and by his great-grandparents. Kyle’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, both in person and online.
