He was predeceased by: his father Jack J. (Marguerite E.); and his nephew Jeremy Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his daughters, Laura of Belleville, IL and Lisa Richardson of Belleville, IL; his brother Ross Richardson (Sandra) of Effingham, IL; and his nephew Scott Richardson of Lafayette, IN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kurrus Funeral Home (1773 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Church in Belleville, IL or American Parkinson Disease Association.
