Krista Marie Sherwood

Krista Marie Sherwood, also known as Larry Sherwood, was born on August 6, 1958, in Belleville, Michigan, and passed away on March 12, 2026, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, at the age of 67. She found great joy in life and held a deep passion for baseball, particularly her beloved Detroit Tigers. That love, however, was surpassed only by the profound affection she had for her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted wife, Jackie Sherwood, with whom she shared a lifetime of adventures. Krista was a proud and loving mother to her son, Johnathan Sherwood, who continues to carry forward her legacy of kindness and warmth. Her memory will also be cherished by her siblings, Diane and Bob, June and Cliff, and Gary and Paula, who shared countless memories and supported one another through the years.

Krista will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her spirit endures in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love.
