Kirk Karges

Kirk J. Karges was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on July 26, 1968 to Joseph and Maureen Karges. He passed away in Clinton Township on March 6, 2026.

A proud graduate of Michigan State University, Kirk remained a lifelong fan of the Michigan State Spartans and carried that same spirit into every part of his life. Deeply devoted to his Catholic faith, he found comfort in prayer and the fellowship of his church community. He built a respected career in data analytics within the banking industry, where his sharp intellect and unwavering integrity earned the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

Above all, Kirk was a dedicated family man who treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. He was known for his warmth, generosity, and steady presence, and he counted his many friendships among life’s greatest blessings. An avid golfer and exceptional athlete, he stayed remarkably fit throughout his years and enjoyed countless rounds with friends on courses across southeast Michigan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Karges; his loving children, Brandon Karges, Bryce Karges, Rorie Karges, Victoria (Kyle) Suminski, Anthony Zipay, and Nicholas Zipay; his proud grandchildren, Carson, Stella, and Sophia; and his dear brothers, Ken (Amy) Karges and Keith Karges.
