Kimberly "Kim" Matthews Rose Martin

Kimberly “Kim” Matthews Rose Martin, age 58, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on September 23, 1967, in Washington, Pennsylvania, to Thomas F. Matthews and Barbara Lewis Bodnar, Kim grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1985. She later trained as a legal secretary at Sawyer Business School.

Throughout her career, Kim was known for her dedication and kindness. She worked as a medical assistant in a chiropractor’s office in Washington, Pennsylvania, where she found joy in helping others. After moving to Oklahoma, she continued her professional life as a legal secretary in McAlester.

Kim possessed a warm and lively spirit that drew people to her. She cherished time with her friends, delighted others with her witty sense of humor, and found comfort in reading her Bible. She adored her cats, enjoyed watching funny animal videos, and looked forward with great excitement to welcoming and spending time with her grandchildren, especially the twins soon to arrive.

She is survived by her children, Noah Rose and Nathanael Rose; her grandchildren, Jude, Lyle, and Delilah Rose; her mother, Barbara Lewis Bodnar; and her sisters, Pam (Tim) Maffio and Kelly (Mickey) Horne. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas F. Matthews. Kim will be remembered for her loving heart, her humor, and the joy she brought to everyone whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
