Revere, MA
Kimberly H. Armendi, 65, of Revere, Massachusetts, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born in Chelsea, she moved to Revere at the age of nine and spent most of her life there, forming deep friendships and becoming a cherished presence in her community.
She was the loving mother of Duane Spagnuolo Jr. and Francine Caterina Mannone, both of Revere. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Dawn Spagnuolo (Walles), her mother, Carol LaRosa (Barry) of Revere, her father, Michael Armendi of Ocala, Florida, her sister, Heidi Devlin, her brother, Steven LaRosa, and her adored niece and nephew, Hannah Devlin and Sean Devlin. She was deeply influenced by her late stepfather, Anthony “Tony” LaRosa, who helped raise her. Kimberly also shared a lasting and meaningful friendship with Sebastian Mannone, Francine’s father, and was warmly embraced by the entire Mannone family for many years. She held special affection for Sebastian’s nieces and nephews—Cathy, Marcus, and Nickolis—whom she considered her own and cherished alongside her children.
Kimberly possessed a vibrant spirit and a passion for art and making others laugh. She studied at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, where she cultivated her love for clown artistry and created colorful, joyful artwork. In 2008, she and her daughter moved to the Cooledge Street projects in Revere, where her warm heart, generosity, and open-door policy made her a beloved neighbor. Many knew her affectionately as “Auntie Kim.” She shared close, enduring friendships with Allyson, Donna, and Erin, and a special bond with Lori Desmond, with whom she and Francine created countless happy memories alongside the Ciciulla children. A woman of strong faith, creativity, and laughter, Kimberly was also the devoted owner of her beloved dog, Roxy.
She will be remembered for her humor, artistic spirit, kindness, and the love she gave so freely to family, friends, and her community. In her own words, she encouraged others to “See the change you want in the world, and be it.” Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
