Kim Ellen Stanton (Poole) of Louisville, Ohio, born January 9, 1959, passed away on March 9, 2026.
Kim held her family and friends close to her heart, finding deep joy in the simple beauties of everyday life. She tended her garden with special care for her peppers, placed fresh bouquets on the table, and took peaceful walks in nature. She loved sunshine, the beach, and being near the water, all of which brought a ready smile to her face.
For many years she taught fitness classes, inspiring others to lead healthier and happier lives. She carried a vibrant spirit, a contagious laugh, and a love of dancing that made her seem forever young. Those who spent time with her left with a story, a smile, or a lasting memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard (Buck) and Dortha Poole, her brothers Steve and Jeff Poole, and her nephew Ross Watson.
Kim is survived by her children, Tara (Corey) Hall and Clint (Brandy) McCoy; her beloved grandson, Connor McCoy; her brothers Keith (Lois) Poole, Brad (Melanie) Poole, and Mike Poole; her sister Marty Poole (Jim Palmer); her special cousin Sandy Loyd; nieces Crissy Poole, Mackenzie Poole, and Katie (Alexander) Peters; nephew Neil Poole; her companion Scott Stanton; and the father of her children, Rick McCoy. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends in Illinois and Ohio who will cherish her memory.
