Kim Scheller, a vibrant and kind-hearted soul, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on June 2, 1963, in Indianapolis, she brought warmth and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her life was marked by an unwavering spirit and a boundless love for others.
For 43 years, Kim worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Rolls-Royce North America, reflecting her industrious nature and commitment to excellence. She graduated in 1986 from General Motors Institute (GMI), an achievement of which she was proud.
Kim was known for her loving personality and her willingness to do anything for anyone, always ready to lend a helping hand. She shared a special bond with her dog, Emmy, and cherished visits with friends and family. Once you met Kim, you had a friend for life; her incredible energy lit up every room she entered. She was a member of Third Church of Christ, Scientist in Indianapolis. A true sports enthusiast, she found joy in cheering for the Pacers, Colts, Fever, Reds, and Purdue, using each game as an opportunity to connect with loved ones.
Kim is survived by her beloved husband, Robert (Rob) Scheller, her brother, Timothy (Tim) Yarling, her sister-in-law, Chiharu Yarling, and her father, Robert (Bob) Hallam, along with in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy L. Yarling, and her mother, Jeanne Hallam. Those who knew her will remember her compassion, warmth, and the laughter and joy she brought into their lives.
