Derry, NH
Kim Marie Lesure, 65, of Derry, New Hampshire, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on March 19, 1960, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, to Paul and Helen (Green) Chapdelaine, she grew up in Londonderry, New Hampshire, and graduated from Pinkerton Academy.
Kim devoted her life to caring for others. She began her career working multiple jobs while raising her son, Jason Robert, and later helped operate a typewriter repair business with her second husband, James “Jimmy” Cataldo. After his passing in 1985, she found her true calling as a hospice aide with Rockingham VNA & Hospice, where her compassion and gentle presence brought comfort to the terminally ill. She continued this meaningful work for two decades while also serving as an LNA at Hanover Hill in Manchester for nearly twenty years. Known for her heart of gold, Kim would do anything for her patients and those she loved.
She is survived by her children, Jason Turner and his girlfriend Jamie Swiesz of Manchester, New Hampshire; Brandi (Cataldo) Saunders of Sterling, Virginia; and Amie (Lesure) Rossi and her husband Andrew of Derry, New Hampshire. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Matthew, and Charlotte, as well as her brother Ronald Chapdelaine and his wife Cindy of Londonderry, her sister-in-law Michelle Chapdelaine of Londonderry, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her husband James “Jimmy” Cataldo, Kim was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Helen Chapdelaine, and her brothers Keith and Kevin Chapdelaine.
