Elizabeth, CO
Kim Diane Brogger (Stone), 67, of Elizabeth, Colorado, passed away on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Kim was born on September 27, 1958, in Hugo, Colorado, to Jim and Lois Stone. She grew up on the family ranch in Karval surrounded by family, and carried that love into every stage of her life ~ building a home filled with warmth, generosity, and laughter.
Above all else, Kim’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud and deeply devoted “Nana.” Her grandkids and great-grandkids were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Kim had a generous spirit that touched everyone she met. She found joy in making others happy, whether that meant planning special birthday celebrations, sending a surprise gift to brighten someone’s day, or offering help when it was needed most. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to put others first will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She enjoyed crocheting blankets for the people she loved, shopping for little treasures, decorating her home, and spending time surrounded by family. Every blanket she made, and every thoughtful gesture reflected the love she poured into the lives around her.
Kim is survived by her loving husband, Kent Brogger; her daughter, Jessica Mamos (Ryan); her cherished grandchildren, Nolan Brogger (Mya), Baylie Brogger (Khristen), Kolin Brogger, Hanna Brogger, Wesley Brogger, Austin Brogger, Camden Mamos, Haily Brogger, and Louella Mamos; and her great-grandchildren, Grayson Brogger, Calum Brogger, and Willa Mae Brogger.
She is also survived by her parents, Jim and Lois Stone; her brother, Doug Stone (Connie); her sister, Pam Kraft (Mike); and many nieces and nephews: Nolan Stone (Jodi), Nick Stone (Molly), Jackie Gridley (Devin), Brett Stone (McKenzi), Lane Monks (Kristen), Courtney Sampson (Jake), and Brady Kraft (Christin).
She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmie Brogger, and her niece, Mickie Kraft.
Kim will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the way she made people feel loved and cared for. She spent her life making others happy. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored, and the countless lives she touched.
