Kigun Michael Willford-Carpenter, age 26, of Sanford, tragically passed away on March 7, 2026. He was born on December 4, 1999 in Midland. Kigun loved the outdoors, spending his free time fishing, camping, and hunting. He enjoyed playing video games and loved his dogs. Most of all, Kigun loved spending time with his family, cherishing the moments he spent with them.
He is survived by his parents: Mandy Willford and Shawn McKenna; father: Rex (Erica) Carpenter; fiancé: Kaitlynn Bratcher; siblings: Landon, Holden, Haviah, and Carley; grandparents: Deb Carpenter, Elleen (Greg) Klein, and Jim (Marty) McKenna; 3 nieces; aunts and uncles: Tanya Willford, Deanna (Brian) Kinnie, Kristine (Doug) Fetterolf, Mark (Bonnie) McKenna, Steven McKenna, Jason (Jen) Fontaine, David (Jen) Klein, Pamela (Jacob) Kiester, Nicole (Jared) waters, and Danny (Sara) McKenna; along with several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Carol and Michael Willford and Rodger Carpenter; aunt: Jamie Willford; uncle: Jason Willford; and his great-grandparents.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Grace Christian Church in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. As a last tribute to Kigun, feel free to wear western attire. Memorial contributions may be made in according to the wishes of the family.
