Kigun Michael Willford-Carpenter

Kigun Michael Willford-Carpenter, age 26, of Sanford, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born on December 4, 1999, in Midland, he found deep joy in the outdoors, spending many hours fishing, camping, and hunting. He also loved playing video games, cherished his dogs, and above all treasured the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Mandy Willford and Shawn McKenna, and his father, Rex (Erica) Carpenter; his fiancé, Kaitlynn Bratcher; his siblings, Landon, Holden, Haviah, and Carley; his grandparents, Deb Carpenter, Elleen (Greg) Klein, and Jim (Marty) McKenna; three nieces; and his aunts and uncles, Tanya Willford, Deanna (Brian) Kinnie, Kristine (Doug) Fetterolf, Mark (Bonnie) McKenna, Steven McKenna, Jason (Jen) Fontaine, David (Jen) Klein, Pamela (Jacob) Kiester, Nicole (Jared) Waters, and Danny (Sara) McKenna, along with several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol and Michael Willford and Rodger Carpenter; his aunt, Jamie Willford; his uncle, Jason Willford; and his great-grandparents.
