Kierstyn Canter

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2026, at the age of 56, Kierstyn Canter of Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Eugene, Carrie Lyon, Paul and Stella Canter; and her uncle James Ray Lyon.

She is survived by: her parents, Janis Elaine Lyon Waller of Portsmouth and Paul Michael Canter (Teresa) of Gallipolis; her sister Jo Allison Ramsay of Morrow; her stepfather Frank Waller of Lucasville; her aunts and uncles, Sue, Daniel Hurley of Ft. Worth, TX, Randy and Bonnie Canter of Portsmouth; her cousins, Amy Dorsey (Eric), Jon Hurley (Kerin) and April Sanders; her nieces, Blythe Liesch (Derek) and Bailey Powell (Brian); and her friend Cynthia Beckett Duncan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home (1422 Lincoln St, Portsmouth, OH 45662). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Burial Park (10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694).
