He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Watson and Nita Watson of Peoria. He is survived by: his son Jacob Hight; his siblings, Rodney Watson and Terrilyn Watson Wardlow (Guy); his nephews, Zach Miller (Karen), Kenny Watson (Annie) and Davis Watson (Harlie); and his great-nieces, Kenna, Mila, McKenlie and Brenlie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peoria Cemetery (2421 Farm to Market Rd 1947, Hillsboro, TX 76645).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin's name, in honor of Brody Nelson, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
