Kevin Scott MacDonald

Kevin Scott MacDonald, 59, of Falmouth, passed away peacefully at the McCarthy Care Center on March 6, 2026. He was the loving long-term partner of Jacklyn Parker and the son of the late John and Paula MacDonald.

Kevin was an outgoing, caring, loving, and funny man who grew up in Sagamore with the Bourne Canal as his backyard. There he spent many happy hours fishing and catching lobsters. He attended Bourne public schools and carried a lifelong passion for rock and roll music, especially Van Halen. A skilled craftsman, he installed and finished hardwood floors for many homes, including that of former President George H.W. Bush in Florida. After several years in Florida, he returned to Massachusetts, where he met Jacklyn Parker. Together they welcomed their son, Joshua, who became the greatest joy of Kevin’s life.

In addition to his partner Jacklyn and son Joshua MacDonald of Falmouth, Kevin is survived by his brothers John, Christopher, and Matthew MacDonald, as well as many nieces and nephews.
