He was predeceased by: his uncle Raymond Baker; his grandparents, Jean and George Baker; his cousin Trevor Baker; and his parents, Larry Nelson and Ruth Ann Nelson (Baker).
He is survived by: his siblings, Hope Mang (Danny), Ruth Nelson (Wayne) and Ozzie Nelson (Diane); his siblings' children, Lawrence, Jay and Natali; his great-nieces, Elayna and Avaeyuh; his aunt Georgetta; his uncle Richard (Sherri); and his cousins, Trent, Erica, Emery and Aiden.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Scott Chapel (921 Main St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
