Kevin Leslie Bell

Kevin Leslie Bell, 61, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on December 21, 1964, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wesley Bell Jr. and Vonnelda Ruth Shepherd Bell.

Kevin graduated from MacArthur High School in Houston in 1983, where he played on the football team and cherished time spent with family and close friends Keith and Don. In 1992, he married Sally L. Bell and welcomed her daughter Janna M. Morris into his life. Together they had four children: Ryan D. Bell in 1993, Morgan A. Bell in 1996, and Calvan W. Bell in 1999.

In early adulthood, Kevin served as a firefighter and EMT with the Westfield Fire Department and Harris County Emergency Corps before beginning a 34-year career in safety in 1992. He loved taking his children to car shows, Astros games, monster truck rallies, drag races, and fishing trips, and he actively coached their baseball, football, and soccer teams. He was deeply involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and in later years he found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren, David, Jayde, Jaylie, and Noa. His faithful companion Ozzy was by his side everywhere he went.

Kevin is survived by his step-daughter Janna M. Morris, son Ryan D. Bell and daughter-in-law Veena R. Bell, daughter Morgan A. Bell, son Calvan W. Bell, the mother of his children Sally L. Bell, his four grandchildren, and his sister Andrea Bell Thompson.
