Kevin John Manion

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin John Manion of Rochelle, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Donald Manion Sr. and Dolores (Hesslau); his siblings, Eugene Donald Jr., Keith Edward, Monica and Marisa; and his nephew Sean.

He is survived by: his wife Kate; his son Kevin John Jr.; his stepson Nicholas Whisman (Marie); his siblings, Maeva Barickman (Fred), Mary Allen (Russell), Maureen Hirschberg (Anthony Martinucci), Margaret Yawger (Richard), Matthew Manion (Denise) and Michele Oldendorf (Kevin); and his sisters-in-law, Carole and Veronica. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and countless other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mount Auburn Funeral Home (4101 S Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a memorial contribution to assist the family at this time.
