Kevin J. Shirk

Kevin J. Shirk, 51, of Denver, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Ed B. and Ruth W. (Martin) Shirk and the devoted husband of Amy B. (Stricker) Shirk, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage. Kevin found joy in simple pleasures and family traditions. He loved grilling and smoking meats, camping, following NASCAR with a special admiration for Dale Earnhardt, Sr., restoring John Deere antique tractors, taking family trips to Knoebels, vacationing in Wildwood, New Jersey, and attending auctions.

For most of his life, Kevin worked as a truck driver, most recently with Goods Disposal. He is survived by his wife Amy, his son Nate E. Shirk, his parents Ed and Ruth Shirk, and his sister Lisa M. Richardson and her husband Randy.
