Kevin Echols

Kevin Echols, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2026. A lifelong resident of Atlanta, he was a beloved son, devoted father, cherished brother, fun-loving uncle, cousin, and loyal friend to countless people.

Kevin was known for his infectious laugh, jovial spirit, and warm presence that could light up any room. He made friends effortlessly and loved his family and friends deeply. An avid sports enthusiast, he passionately followed the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is survived by his mother, Annette Echols; his father, Johnny Gordon; the love of his life, Shadreka Colvard; his siblings, Darvin Echols, Jarrod Echols, Schrence Echols, Leander White (Monica), Victor Echols (Deborah), Andre Echols, Derrick Echols, and Crystal Echols; his three sons, Kevin Echols Jr., Demetrius Echols, and Rashad Echols; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him profoundly.

Kevin’s legacy will live on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared with all who knew him.
