Kermit Dubree

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026, at the age of 82, Kermit Dubree of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Dubree (Bartley) and John Barlow Dubree; his great grandchild Karoline Arnett; his siblings, Benny, John, David, James Dubree, Myrtle Dubree and Sue Wheat; and his half-siblings, Wallace, Marshall, Carl Dubree, Melba Campbell and Frances Chloe Birge.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shaw Dubree; his children, Kim (Randy Matthews) of Glasgow, KY and Kenny Dubree (Jennifer) of Tompkinsville, KY.; his granddaughters, Jessica Arnett (Brad), Joshlyn Dubree (Morgan) and Haley Lyons (Hade); his great grandchildren, Kasen, Amelia Arnett, Felix and Harlow Lyons; his siblings, Linda Faye Jones of Glasgow, KY and Shelby; and his sister-in-law Doris Shaw of Louisville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
