Kenton A. Price passed away on March 13, 2026, in Rockford, IL, after a brief illness. Kenton was born on December 3, 1971, in Elgin, IL. He was the son of Marianne (Tia) Wells, and John (Jack) Price. He spent his childhood in Yorkville, Illinois, graduating from Yorkville High School.

He spent much of his working life as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in several area Nursing Homes and Home Health Care Agencies.

Kenton is survived by his Parents, Marianne (Tia) Wells and John (Jack) Price, his Stepmother Carol Price, two children, Kyleigh Price and Collin Price of Cheyenne, Wyoming, one brother, Dane (Autumn) Price of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, two nephews, Landon Price and Beckett Price, also of Rolling Meadows, Illinois an uncle, Bob (Peggy) Britt of Delevan, Wisconsin, an aunt, Janis (Mike) Rogers of Aurora, Illinois, an aunt, Kelly (Mike) May of Yorkville, Illinois, an aunt, Judy Price of St. Charles, Illinois, a step sister, Diane (Don) Taylor of Wesley Chapel, Florida, his best friends Amy (Jeff) Kember, of Marseilles, Illinois, his beloved dogs, Uther and Bodee, as well as several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Ron Wells, uncles, John Britt, Don Price, and Mike Price, a cousin, Bobby Britt, and Grandparents, George & Anita Britt, and James & Mary Kay Price.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to Noon, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Turner–Eighner Funeral Home, 3952 Turner Ave., Plano, Illinois. Inurnment will follow at Millington Newark Cemetery, South Church Street, Millington, Illinois, with all family and friends invited. Immediately following the inurnment, a luncheon will be held for all family and friends, at the Millbrook United Methodist Church, 8360 Fox River Drive, Millbrook, Illinois.
