Kenny McAllister ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Holloway Funeral Home - Salisbury on Mar. 9, 2026.William Kenneth McAllister, 96 of Salisbury, formerly of Fruitland, passed away Sunday, March 8.Born December 12, 1929 in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Omar and Natalie McAllister. His wife, the former Virginia Luckado passed away in 2013. They had celebrated 62 years of marriage.Kenny graduated from Wicomico High School class of 1946. He served in the US Navy from 1948-1952. He worked for Wayne Pump and then at Callaway Typewriter from 1954 until his retirement in 1992. After retirement, Kenny enjoyed working part time at Ace Hardware.He was a lifetime member of BPOE Elks #817 and a long time member of both the American Legion and Fruitland Redmens Lodge.Kenny had been a member at St. John's Church, Fruitland.He enjoyed golfing, swimming at the YMCA pool and traveling with his wife.Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Wisner and her husband Eric; two granddaughters, Melissa Revel and Jennifer Jones; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four siblings, Betty Hawkins, Ann Malone, Robert McAllister and Geraldine Renn.A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 16, 2026, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Wicomico Memorial Park.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
