He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloice A. Gossett and Dorothy Gossett (Peppers); his wives, Helen K. Gossett and Mary E. Gossett; and his siblings, Owen Gossett, Glenn Gossett, Almeta Smith, Bertha Taylor, Margaret Ann Gossett and Evelyn Jones. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Peace Springfield (823 S Yellow Springs St, Springfield, OH 45506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Burial Park (4781 S Charleston Clifton Rd, South Charleston, OH 45368).
