Kenneth Ray Collom

Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Collom, 46, of Jacksboro, Texas, passed away at his home on March 8, 2026. Born on September 13, 1979, in Lubbock, Texas, to Ray Allen Collom and Brenda Jo (Varner) Collom, Kenny graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1998 and continued his studies at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. He worked in the oilfield industry before becoming an asset manager at Mercer Oilfield Services, where he remained until his health required him to retire.

Kenny was a devoted son, grandson, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is survived by his father, Ray Collom; stepfather, Mitchell Isbell; sister, Stephanie Watson; niece, Caitlin Warren; nephew, Christian Mott; four great-nieces; one great-nephew; several aunts, uncles, and extended family members; and two special cousins he considered siblings, Crystal Barnett and Chad Dunn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Eula Mae Collom and Red and Geraldine Varner; his mother, Brenda Isbell; nephew, Zachary Warren; aunt, Treva Chambless; and several other aunts and uncles.
