Kenneth O. Ward, age 86, of Aynor, South Carolina, passed away on March 13, 2026. Son of the late Olen and Betty Ward, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Sandy V. Ward; brothers Billy (Bill) Ward and Robert (Bob) Ward; grandson Brandon G. Nobles; and special sister-in-law Lib Ward.

A 1957 graduate of Aynor High School, Kenny proudly served four years in the United States Air Force. He earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and went on to become a CPA and licensed real estate broker. For more than 32 years he served his community with distinction as Magistrate Judge in Aynor. He also served on the boards of Conway Hospital and Waccamaw State Bank. Kenny was a member of Aynor Masonic Lodge #257, the Aynor Lions Club, a Shriner, and a longtime member of Aynor United Methodist Church. He was co-founder of Rolling Hills Golf Course and Aynor Little League, and was inducted into Aynor High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sara Ward; his children, Wendy Nobles, Kenneth (Ken) Ward (Shana), Amy Thompson, Earl Ward (Brittany), John Ward, Amanda Azzarella, and Dylan DiCapua; stepchildren Felicia Johnson and William Johnson; thirteen grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law, fourteen great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren; his brother Larry Ward; special sisters-in-law Shelva Jean Ward and Elizabeth Ward; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
